Complete backup if unrooted
« on: February 21, 2013, 10:00:49 PM »
I have a new Nexus 7. Is there a way to make a complete backup (not just data) to my computer before I attempt rooting it? A backup that would be useful to restore if something goes wrong during the rooting?
How exactly? I read the piece explaining backups but it seems to be discussing rooted N7s.
Thanks.

There is a guide in the forum to performing such backups.

Try this thread too.

I think there are now multiple options, and this is only one.
