Have my nexus since christmas- overall happy- battery life seems weak.  Need help there, turn off wifi, screen brightness all the way down.

Welcome to the forum.
What does weak mean exactly?  Are you sure you dont have a bad alternator? Since Xmas sounds like great battery life to me.
Seriously. Please give some info as far as why you are unhappy with battery life. How many hours of use?  Type of use? Etc... What are you basing bad performance against?
