Nexus 7 importing of *.gpx files
« on: April 22, 2019, 04:05:50 AM »
Hi All
I have a 2nd generation 7 and used it for aircraft navigation using a program called Easy VFR.
For some reason, it has stopped importing *.gpx files which are used to create the planned route.
I get error messages to do with PARSE of the file, but have no idea what that is !
I have contacted the app developer who said nothing has changed, uninstalled the App, done a factory reset on the Nexus, allowed debugging and gone into Recovery Mode and cleared the cache partition.
I am pretty sure it is the tablet causing the issue and not the App
The messages are :- Unable to parsre XML document ram://temp/ “name of the file I have use” i.e. trip to Compton Abbas
CopyFile() Failed to open source raw:///storage/emulated/0/Download/ “name of the file I have use” i.e. trip to Compton Abbas
Failed Preparing for the file “name of the file I have use” i.e. trip to Compton Abbas
Please, any help would definitely be appreciated
Chris
