Not too difficult actually. I just did brain surgery on mine to swap the motherboard and battery. If you're good with electronics, no problem. I just realized that I left the second mic out, so I have to pull the motherboard again.

Probably, but the parts are not easy to come by. I'm sure if you bought one from eBay with a cracked screen, you'd be able to swap some parts out.
