Charging Nexus 7 (2013) in Car
« on: November 14, 2013, 04:42:16 PM »
The 110V charger that came with my Nexus 7 (2013) delivers an output of 5.2V at 1.35A. Can I assume that a car charger, with micro-USB connector, that plugs into my cigarette lighter and delivers an output of 5V at 2A will charge my N7 just fine?

Should be fine.... some early 'cigar supply units' could only supply 1Amp, (or less!) and would get hot/cause problems, but one able to supply 2 Amps or more should be fine,,
