Lost Gmail multiple user account

 :'(Hi there... My original Nexus 7 was running the Gmail multiple user facility smoothly before the KitKat upgrade. Since then, it's disappeared so that only one a/c is available... . (There used to be an 'add account' before but that's gone).... Please help me get it  back! Many thanks, Michael
