Since my personal guess for 1000 members of 20Aug, can now be revealed, I am going with 10Nov2012 for 2000 members. There is nothing scientific about my guess, but it reminds me of the Plains of Marathon and helps me remember my prediction.

New member sign up is accelerating quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 2000 by the end of September or sooner.

1200 today! We add 100 every 3.5 days, so 2000 members for sure by Sept 27. Mark it.

Don't get you hopes to high.  There is one forum that I check every day.  I've been a member for about 2 years and haven't made a post yet.

My guess is the pace will increase.  I've been starting to see links to the forum appear more often in internet searches.  That's how I originally found the forum.

Exactly the more posts we have, the more we are noticed by search engines, but besides that, we are a great forum that has great members, who enjoy helping new users.
