Nexus7 battery??

All of a sudden my Nexus 7 has started shutting down with battery flat even though the battery was still showing 60%+.  Has anyone else had this problem? The latest android update seems to have caused quite a few problems and maybe this is one of them?
If I charge it up then it restarts and shows 100% and stays at 100% for quite a long time. Then it starts going down and fails again at various %ages.

I had that happen on another tablet. In my case the battery slowly went bad. It finally swelled up and pushed the back off after getting less and less on time.
I suppose it could also be a calibration issue, you could try a factory reset.
