N7 Calendar and Backup

First, you are all awesome for taking the time to respond to so many questions here. I can't thank you enough.

I notice my N7 Calendar has two different backup notices every day and a third backup notice on Thurs. The user guide has absolutely nothing (yet again) on the Calendar app or on these Backups.

Anyhow, if these notices are for scheduled backups, my problem is that I never know when my N7 is going to be on, so I'm missing all these daily backups. 

1) If I miss a backup, does it occur whenever the N7 is turned on?
2) Can I reschedule all these backups for a more appropriate time, and if so, how?
3) and lastly, Can I just run these same backups manually whenever I want, when I'm using the N7?

Sorry about the many questions, but they are all related.
