^^^  I had to manually choose the path for the device drivers before my N7 was recognized.  The good news is, the driver installation is the toughest part of the whole process.

Ah, thanks again guys, I finally got it!  Now just to reload all of my apps etc.  I'm glad I didn't wait any longer, it'll be a job enough getting all settled back in the way I like it. Thanks for the help!

 8) Worked flawlessly for me (apart from having to delete drivers from a previous aborted attempt,  :o using another method!)

I really, really wanted this to work so that I could read my files from an SD card - using Stickmount - and it works very well with pics and videos so far.

Thanks for making what my Nexus 7 even better!
