It will pay for itself as I'm going to cancel my national newspaper and a weekly news magazine I subscribe to because I'm getting 95% of my news online now.

And I can read it in bed and bathroom with no lights on. I have the 8 gig model and that's fine for what I do. Still haven't used all the $25 credit that Google gave to me for the Play Store when I ordered it.

I've had a total of four tablets and like this one even better that the 10" that I had.

Mine is updating as I write. I'm glad I bought a tablet from Google as they have consistently done what they said they would do in a timely manner.
I've tried three other tablets and was disappointed in them compared to my Nexus 7.

 

I have Foxfi on my wifes Droid for the few times I'm not around WiFi.

No update for me yet either. i check for updates and it says I'm just fine.

I wonder why they don't do them all at the same time...

Just installed Foxfi on my wife's 2 year old Droid and connected right away. Excellent!!!!

I preordered mine and never had any issues.

Some things get overblown on here.

Diver4242.....There is an App at Google Store called "Speaker Boost".  I've downloaded it and it works great to improve sound from the Nexus 7.
