I think 8GB is a bit **edited by admin**. Available to the user is more like 6GB. Since there is no SD slot, I would just bite the bullet and part with the extra $50. Whether you envisage using it for music or videos or not, apps take up space. I would rather just have the extra space than forced to make decisions on deleting content and apps often. 

I heard some one say they were using there sun visor, which I thought is a good idea so am going to try and fix it in now :-)
