Hello Everyone
« on: November 01, 2012, 07:42:15 PM »
I am a network engineer from Richmond VA and just purchased a 32gb Nexus 7. It has not yet arrived and I am looking for some ideas and tips to be ready when I get it.

Welcome to the forum ednemo. Do you have any Linux experience? Also, I ran the Richmond Marathon in 09.

Welcome to the forums.  You're already using the best idea an tip I could give you.  Sign up for the Nexus 7 Forum.  Browse the various topics and posts.  You're sure to find something helpful.  If you have any problems, do a forum search.  If you can't find an answer, start a new post with your question.  If you don't get the answer, you'll get a lot of suggestions.
I used to be crazy until I found out that insane pays more.

Where am I?  What am I doing in this handbasket?

This would be my first tip. Use the toolkit to unlock and root your Nexus as soon as it is fully charged. Prime put together a step by step that is great. The developer of the toolkit did a great job and stands by his work. If there are any glitches there are a lot of us that can help you along the way.
