One of the things I love about my Nexus 7 Tablet is the endless amount of uses that i'm always finding for it. From a simple email, web browsing and game playing device it has slowly encroached on other more sophisticated areas that I initially hadn't realized it would. I now find I watch almost as much television via my HBOGO app on my N7 than I do on a regular TV. I also do my calendar and scheduling more often than not on my N7 and not my phone's or desktop. But one thing I thought I'd be stuck doing on a desktop forever was downloading and searching torrent files. With my discovery of tTorrent I can officially say yet another function of my desktop and laptop has moved to my Nexus 7.

With tTorrent you can pretty much do everything regarding torrents that you usually do on your desktop. You can search for an endless amount of different material via it's search function and tTorrent provides full support for magnet links and trackerless torrent support as well. Now of course we know that many use torrent clients to download trademark and copyrighted material such as tv shows, movies and books but while we frown on these illegal uses there's tons of legitimate open source and non-copyright content and files to download and also using a torrent is probably the most efficient way to download large files quickly. tTorrent Pro provides unlimited download speed so it's worth the $3.99 fee as compared to the free version which limits you to a maximum of 250kb download and has advertising. tTorrent Pro is probably the most user friendly of the Android torrent clients available today so if you're looking for a bit torrent client I highly recommend you give it a try. There's free 'lite' and pay versions and as I mentioned the pay version lifts the download cap, saving you time.
