Happy Friday fellow Nexus 7 Forum members! For today's game spotlight I thought I'd eschew (fancy word, eh?) the usual super advance graphically dazzling game and go with something delightfully simple, yet fun to play. Introducing 'Finding Teddy', a mysterious fairy tale like game with a dash of 'Tim Burtonesque' mood and hand drawn pixel by pixel graphics. Here's some game play snippets to give you a taste:
The story of 'Finding Teddy' is incredibly simple. You play 'the little girl' who's 'Teddy Bear' has been stolen in the middle of the night by a monster that somehow came out of her cupboard. Soon the little girl finds herself wandering a strange fantastic world that she finds herself in after falling asleep in her cupboard. In search of her Teddy, she has to work with her two new friends, Mister Fly and Mister Cat to unlock riddles and explore lands on her quest. Finally the big mystery at the end of the game is...will she be able to go back to the real world? This is a simple 'point and click' adventure that is quite addictive and the entire quest is split into three chapters. It's a nice change of pace from the typical 'shoot em ups'.
