I have a Nexus 7 and an Asus TF300. They both are running Android 4.1.1.
Yet, the N7 will not make WiFi ad-hoc connections with my phone running Joikuspot as a Wifi Hotspot.
The Transformer (unrooted) has no trouble whatsoever, and neither does my iPad or any other tablet I've tried.
Why doesn't the N7 work in this regard, after all they are both running the same version of Android and they are made by the same company.
Is it something related to the firmware that stops the N7 from using ad-hoc wireless networking?
