Another week come and gone folks and as it's Friday we've got another Nexus 7 Game Spotlight for ya. This weeks victim, I mean subject: 'The Simpsons: Tapped Out' which just got a really cool Halloween update to ring in the coming spooky season. Now if you're not familiar with 'The Simpsons: Tapped Out' then you're in for a treat, especially if you're a fan of the long running show. This is basically the best 'The Simpsons' themed game ever made. It's a lot of fun and highly addictive to play and features writing and artwork from the actual creators of the legendary show.
The basic gist of the game is from the citybuilding genre but with a 'Simpson's' comedic twist of course. Homer has accidentally caused a meltdown at the nuclear plant he works at and destroyed Springfield. It's up to you, yes YOU, to rebuild it and you'll be rewarded with donuts if you do it right. Now it's not as easy as it sounds as there's all kinds of tasks and challenges that await. Apart from finding Marge, Bart, Lisa and the rest of the famous cartoon cast, you'll make Apu work at the Kwik-E-Mart, grow and harvest Tomacco on Cletus's Farm, party at the Duff Brewery and basically explore and interact with tons of famous scenes and characters from the show. Now this latest edition of the game is FREE and it comes with a new Halloween update to add some spookiness to the game as well just in time for you to go out and buy some pumpkins. You can grab it at the link below but don't tell us we didn't warn you...this game is FUN and ADDICTIVE.
