My contact pic

I have deleted my contact intentionally. It now only shows in my gmail on the new Nexus 7.
Any ideas why? I always worry it shows for work email.

I had eliminated my contact picture from a gmail account. After doing so the pic was gone from Gmail on desktop but still showed up on gmail in Nexus 7 gmail app. Can't understand why it still showed up in gmail on Nexus 7 only. I just migrated to other email app.

I would check Google+, you may have your picture linked to it.
