Missing Folders
« on: December 23, 2013, 01:25:28 PM »
I downloaded an app called File Manager and used it to create some new folders in my Music Folder on the Nexus 7. However, when I connect to my Windows 7 computer in order to transfer some files to the new folders, they do not show up in Windows Explorer. Can anyone explain what is going on? Thanks.

Android Jellybean connects to your computer using MTP (Media Transfer Protocol), so on connection your computer scans the entire contents of the tablet. Disconnect your tablet and reconnect and if the folders do not show up, restart your tablet. If they still fail to show use the file manager on your tablet to check the permissions of the folders and make sure the permissions are R/W.
