Thanks for that, it good to know that I can delete them en bloc, but could you help me understand why they are there, what purpose do they serve?

Nexus 7 General Discussion / Why is all this stored on my nexus/« on: March 29, 2013, 03:11:25 PM »
When looking through the task manager and opening android--data--com.firestudio--files, I find literally hundreds of icons labelled Panel A1 up to Panel F99, these are all film stills.
Then I get to A number of icons marked Shared Movies, these will not open. Next comes Thumb nail User Online which are more film stills, then User Online which seem to be portrait photos some captioned "wire image", and finally YTHotNewly which are more film stills. Where did they come from, and should I delete them as they must be using a lot of space. 3

What a mess! I had to get rid of 3 apps as they stopped working. 2 I can do without, but BBC Media Player I will miss. On tapping BBC Media Player, I get the BBC iPlayer screen and an invitation to download, but when I try, I get the message about not being supported on the device. Very disappointing. As for photosphere, it's really elusive, I'v even looked under the cushions on the sofa but I still can't find it.

I went through the registration process not knowing if I would qualify for the voucher as I purchased my N7 from Argos, but I got as far as submitting my receipt when I looked into the ASUS Store and all there is for the Nexus 7 is a cover, in 6 different colours, at £15. I had already got a very useful magnetic cover with a pen thingy from Amazon so I wont be taking up the offer. A voucher for Google Play Store would have been a more acceptable offer, however I'll just seethe quietly to myself every time I use my Nexus 7

Nexus 7 Help / Re: Where did it go?« on: October 28, 2012, 04:49:16 PM »
S.Prime
but if it is in WMA format you will have limited success with playback. I had the same problem as the OP, only one track of an album played , I have just installed that file thingy and am now able to see that the tracks are all installed but are WMA, which begs the question, why will one play and the other 11 won't? Incidentally, when the albom is opened in the file thingy, and a track is selected to play, the legend "Couldn't play track requested" appears for all tracks, even the one which will play in the Play Music screen. 9

What app are you trying to use to view them? I put them in movie folder, just get the message "no video found". My knowledge of apps is zero, will video not play without one? 12
