Nexus 7 General Discussion / Re: Battery time in settings« on: January 13, 2013, 12:56:52 PM »
I have only charged it twice and both times its got till about 10% then I have switched it off and charged it for about 4 hours until fully charged.
It then re sets the battery settings like it should and I use it as normal till I switch if off, then when I switch it back on the battery settings re sets to zero This happens for the first 3 or 4 times then it will keep the battery usage like it should until I charge it again. Nexus 7 General Discussion / Another little niggle« on: January 13, 2013, 09:53:15 AM »
Hi
It seems when I charge my n7 fully it will not switch on like it should. Usually I just press the on button briefly and it pops on. However when I charge it fully I have to keep the power button pressed on for about 15 seconds before it will turn on then it acts fine again until I fully charge it. Thanks for any help Chris Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD 10

Hi thanks for replies, I know it's still on as I have a case for my Nexus and when I close it, it shuts off, when it open case it goes to unlock screen and the Wifi is instantly on, also when I check battery settings its showing as constantly been on.

Hi all
My Wifi stays on during sleep even though in settings I have this option set to never. Anyone else experienced this? And is there a way to make the Wifi go of when n7 is in sleep mode? Thanks Chris Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD 12
Nexus 7 Apps / Sopcast error« on: January 11, 2013, 02:06:46 PM »
Hi all
I have just installed sopcast on my n7 and it works great. However every time I switch my Nexus on I get the message "unfortunately sopcast has stopped" I get this message regardless if I have been using sopcast or not. Any thoughts on how I can stop this from appearing? Thanks Chris Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD 13
Nexus 7 General Discussion / Re: Nexus 7 Screen brightness problem« on: January 08, 2013, 02:01:02 AM »
Hi
Thanks for your replies, i have tried all lighting conditions and still the same, its weird how they both do the same thing, its not a major problem however and when i think back i am sure my first one did it also to some degree. Its not worth sending it back as everything else is fine, maybe if you all just click onto google chorme and look very carefully you might see the brightness changing ever so slightly and then settle. It cant be a hardware fault i would not have thought if 2 possibly 3 are doing it. Again thanks for replies Chris 14
Nexus 7 General Discussion / Nexus 7 Screen brightness problem« on: January 07, 2013, 01:43:14 PM »
Hi all
I am on my 3rd nexus 7, the first one had software issues with the battery settings, the 2nd one had the dreaded glass popping out, i have just received my 3rd one and i have noticed a little problem. With the auto brightness set to either off or on, when i go into google chrome my brightness goes up a little, it kind of goes up in increments of 4, i.e it gets brighter a little four times then stays the same. When i come out of chrome it goes darker again in increments of 4. If brightness is set to either minimum of maximum then it does not do this. I am still waiting for the faulty 2nd nexus to be picked up so i tried that one and it does the same thing. Has anyone else noticed this on there's?? Thanks all Chris 15

Attached are 2 screen shots, as you can see the screen on time is very low I have practically had the screen on for 3 hours and yet this seems to think it's hardly been on at all.
Edit. How do you attach pics lol Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
