Nexus 7 Audio/Video / Poweramp problem
« on: May 19, 2013, 05:50:40 PM »
I am exploring Poweramp which seems to be an excellent music app.  My problem is that when I load a CD into the Music folder on my Nexus, I see one copy of the album when I open Library in Poweramp, but two copies of each song in the album.  The opposite happens if I open the Folders section of Poweramp -- I see two copies of the same album, but each has only one copy of each song in it.

How do I manage to see just one copy of each album in the Music folder, with just one copy of each song in it?

Nexus 7 Help / Deleting built-in apps
« on: April 03, 2013, 10:32:46 PM »
Is there a way to delete built-in apps?  I am aware that there is an option to disable them (but the world will instantly come to an end if I do).
Having found other apps that I prefer to the built-in apps, I would like to have them gone and reclaim the stiorage space they occupy.  Is there a way?

Nexus 7 Help / Re: Battery Status Info
« on: February 15, 2013, 05:20:07 PM »
I figured it out.  In case anyone is interested it's like this;  I installed an app that is just called 'Battery'.  When I open it up, it shows (among other stuff) a small patch titled 'Notifications'.  By touching that patch I can toggle on or off an advice in the swipe down from the top of the screen that tells me the following information;

* what %age is left in the battery
* if it's charging, how long it will take to charge to 100%
* if the Nexus isn't charging, how many hours of use the battery has left in it.

I must have accidentally turned this function of the app off.  I've turned it back on and find it useful to have the above data in the swipedown. :D :D :D

Nexus 7 Help / Battery Status Info
« on: February 10, 2013, 10:34:18 PM »
I have had a Nexus for a couple of months.   Among the notifications in the dropdown swipe from the top of the screen I have always had a battery status readout.  Now this battery information is no longer in the dropdown.  What have I done to eliminate it?  I've been through the Settings and can't find something I've turned off, or can turn on to reactivate it.  Can anyone advise?
