Battery Status Info
« on: February 10, 2013, 10:34:18 PM »
I have had a Nexus for a couple of months.   Among the notifications in the dropdown swipe from the top of the screen I have always had a battery status readout.  Now this battery information is no longer in the dropdown.  What have I done to eliminate it?  I've been through the Settings and can't find something I've turned off, or can turn on to reactivate it.  Can anyone advise?

You must have had an app that did that because I don't think you can do that with the stock ROM

Mine has a little tile with the a battery icon. It says the percentage of battery life and whether its charging or not.

Both the guys are right here, are you swiping down from the left or right side of the screen?

If it's the left then as sarge rightly said it must be an app you've installed but if it's the right as bjs also rightly said it a time with the battery percentage but then unless using a custom ROM I'm unaware of being able to remove it...

I figured it out.  In case anyone is interested it's like this;  I installed an app that is just called 'Battery'.  When I open it up, it shows (among other stuff) a small patch titled 'Notifications'.  By touching that patch I can toggle on or off an advice in the swipe down from the top of the screen that tells me the following information;

* what %age is left in the battery
* if it's charging, how long it will take to charge to 100%
* if the Nexus isn't charging, how many hours of use the battery has left in it.

I must have accidentally turned this function of the app off.  I've turned it back on and find it useful to have the above data in the swipedown. :D :D :D
