Nexus 7 Help / Re: Nandroid backup

Yes there was a backup failed message on the N7 screen but it was due to clicking too many check boxes on the toolkit...as soon as I unchecked android secure and sd partition all ran smoothly...Thank you!

I may be missing something and pardon me if I am, but wugfresh creates the backup on your PC, so if you are looking for it with TWRP, it will not find it. So, to restore the wugfresh backup, connect the Nexus 7 to your PC and open the ToolKit and it will see the backup you created. If you want a TWRP nandroid backup, you will need to create it from TWRP, and the backup will reside on your tablet.

You are correct...I was trying to make a copy on my computer but the folder kept coming up empty...all is good now...Thank you!

I searched around but couldn't find an answer...I uninstalled the drivers the toolkit said to but when I reboot and connect the N7 it installs its own driver again called "MTB........something" under portable devices...plus there is ADK android under android phones in the device manager...is that what its supposed to say?

Better if you push it from your PC & pull a copy to the PC.

How do you push it from a PC?

I get the whole unlock and root thing...My question is do I install a backup app, do a backup, unlock and root, reinstall the backup app and then reinstall  the backup?
...i.e. How do I get the backup reinstalled?
