Thanks Babe for the push. I tried "OK maps" and it kept it . Going to look at NAV as a alternative. Thanks all!

After not using my Google map for a couple of weeks, I went to use one of my "offline" maps when away from WiFi, and it's not to be found. On the recent maps update, even the icons are no longer visible. SOMEONE must be having the same problem. HELP. - -

Thanks for the suggestions. And Strolin, yes I did transfer the photos to the NMImporter. I see them.

Thanks' but It's not the catagory of "all image files" that I need, It's what do I put in the top line of
"file name" area to find my pic files that I'm trying to figure out. ? ? (I'm old but I'm trying). Thanks again Bird for your help.

Thanks for the fast response Bird. I loaded ES file explorer, see a lot of files, but what do I put in the "file name area" to find my files ?? ?.. There are many files listed, but not "Nexus Media Importer" where the photos currently seem to be ??

I've loaded my pics from my camera into the Nexus Media Importer from my SD card.
They appear in the Importer, but not in my Picasa or Quickpic program. How do I get them there so I can send them e-mail with my Nexus? Maybe I'm going about it the wrong way.

OK, - - I,m a newbie, but learning. How do I find my chrome "desktop"? I created a folder , gave it a title, added some sites, & - - - it's GONE! I'm pretty good on my PC, but learning curve on my Nexus is slow. I'll keep looking for my desktop settings.  Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

When I find my favorite websites, I saved them in the "Desktop" folder. Did not know how to remove some of the sites, I thought I'd just drag the folder to the "remove" "X" at the top. Their gone now, but so is my folder. I've tried to put them in a NEW folder that I created, but that folder appears nowhere. It it gone, or hidden somewhere? Or is there another way to save favorite websites?? I'm Old but learning!

I saw a demo clip of the Nexus answering questions verbally, I could hear "her" answer the question. Not just a viewable answer. Is this a "app" that needs to be added, or do I need to find the setting on my Nexus??

HELP - - As I was looking around the Nexus apps. I went into Google Maps. I entered a few addresses to see how it worked. Now I cannot delete the addresses/locations. It is the addresses that are under END POINT: that I cannot delete. So far I have 4 locations that I need to get rid of. Two (2) of them were in there before I opened the box. How do you delete the "destination" locations that are after END POINT on the Google map?
