There is a lot of threads on this subject but nothing seems to work with the current OS. The speaker and earphone volume is not good at all. I took my N7 on a plane and could barely watch a movie I downloaded through Google because I couldn't hear it. If I connect to an auxiliary Bluetooth speaker its ok but that isn't always practical. This is my biggest complaint with the N7.

I'm new to Nexus 7. Had an Ipad until someone stole it from my car. I Skype with my kids and they say the audio sounds like I'm in a can. Never had an issue with the Ipad. Can I add auxiliary microphone?
