For my PC Desktop, I use Acronis True Image 10 to make full system backup and restores to my external hard drive.
Is it possible to do the same for the new Nexus 7 2013 using a Slimport or OTG cable?
I would like to have this in case some day I need to restore my Nexus 7 back to the point of the day I made the backup.
Thank you in advance,
RichardM

Nexus 7 Help / NEXUS 7 2013 UPDATING QUESTION AND CONCERN
« on: September 19, 2013, 01:38:28 PM »
I have a new Nexus 7 2013 with 4.3 with Build Number: JWR66N.
I was told by Google Play Tech Support that the latest build number for 4.3 r2.2 is JSS15Q
When I check About Tablet, then System Updates it shows: Your System Is Up To Date
Other days, it shows that an update of 4.3 is available to my already 4.3 but only shows waiting for update but never does.
Why isn't my Nexus 7 downloading and installing the latest build of JSS15Q?

Nexus 7 Help / Updating Issue and Concern
« on: September 08, 2013, 07:18:16 AM »
I would be most appreciative for your opinions on my most recent issue with my new Nexus 7 2013.
When I received my new Nexus 7 I went to settings, About Tablet and checked System Updates. It showed that system was up to date.
I had 4.3.
A few days later, when checking System Update again, it displayed that a 4.3 Update was available. I chose Restart and Install.
It proceeded to install the  update, rebooted to Google and the multi-colored X but would not go to the home screen.
I called Google Play Tech Support person had my go through the steps of performing a wipe cache partition. This did not solve the problem.
We tried a couple of times and still on rebooting I would get to the multi-colored X but no further.
So, the Google Play tech person made arrangements for me to return my Nexus 7 for a new replacement.
Well, I received the new replacement.
When I go to About Tablet, again it shows that a 4.3 update is available again. I am hesitant to restart and install concerned it the same thing will happen.
Important Info: my Android Version is 4.3 with Build Number: JWR66N
The tech person told me that there have been a few updates to my Build. The newest ends with a Y.
I assume the 4.3 update is for updating to the newest Y build.
Question:
Should I take the chance and Restart and Install the update and assume that the issue I had with my first Nexus 7 won't happen again or forget installing the update?
I am not sure if this is a major issue for updating with Nexus 7 or just a  coincidence.
Please Help!
