Nexus 7 Accessories / No official dock yet?

Just curious, is there any chance there will be an official, landscape, dock for the Nexus 7 out in time for Christmas? I haven't seen much evidence if the existence of official accessories using the pogo pins, since a few speculative articles from back in July.

Nexus 7 Help / Charging Time?

Just wondering how long other's Nexus 7 takes to fully charge?

Mine charge time seems unreasonably long. It was at 35% when I plugged in into my PC, after 4 hours of not using it, it's at 66%. Battery drain isn't bad, sometime it's worse than others depending on what apps - like live wallpapers, I've got installed. But at this rate it will take 12 hours to charge. I'm not sure it's always this bad, but it does take several hours every time.

Just curious, is this common? Is there something I can do to speed it up?

Nexus 7 General Discussion / Google Voice send SMS, but does not receive.

I am able to send SMS texts from my N7, but replies all go, and only go, to my mobile phone. That is the number associated with my GVoice number, so I understand why my phone gets the reply, but it defeats the purpose of using GVoice, if the sending device is not included.

I'm hoping there is a setting somewhere that I have missed.

Any ideas how to fix?

Nexus 7 Help / Ant+, does it work on the Nexus 7 or not?

I use my Nexus to log workouts, so I'd like to feed my heart rate to my apps. I'd like to feed my Garmin HRM to my log apps.

In the Play store, I've installed several Ant+ apps that say they are compatible, but when I run them, they all tell me my device does not support Ant+.

Is there something I'm missing, like external hardware?

Nexus 7 Help / How to delete non-gmail email accounts?

I started to set up my work email (exchange) , but the Nexus is forcing me to "Activate device administrator", which grants access to the admins at work to "Erase all data", "Lock the screen" and "Disable cameras' among other things. So I cancelled the set up process. If they insist I have 24\7 access they can provide me the device on which to do it.

Any way, for the last week, I've been constantly notified that "Security update requires" for my work email. I can not find the account anywhere, so I can't delete the partial set up.

Anyone have the answer?

Nexus 7 Audio/Video / Streaming personal media from PC to Nexus 7?

Hi all.

I'd like to be able to access all my personal media without having to manage syncing, at least around the house. What are the best options for streaming movies, music and photos from a PC to the Nexus 7?

I've been trying out Skifta. It works, but it's a little quirky.

I have Plex on my home TV, but I haven't bought it for Android yet.

Any other options? What are others doing?
