The reason you can't boot to recovery is because there is a bug in the Android 4.1.1, it has been fixed in 4.1.2 though.

Okay so i bought my new nexus 7 very happy with it then i press auto Brightness and the screen just goes completely black i have gone around to the other forums and they are no HELP i have tried getting a LED light no hope normal light sun like nothing it is still working because i am still getting notification have restarted and get to Google then goes black i have tried to do a factory reset but after i press recovery mode nothing very frustrating and to top it off i have the standard screen problem where it is bulging and not flat and slim bad start for this tablet..........

Please Help
