This is really useful, it looks like it may be cheaper to use the methods you have pointed to rather than spending £30 on a dock that i would have to chop up to fit in my car dash!

Hi all

Sorry if I haven't phrased the subject very well. I am currently looking at getting a nexus 7 to install in a car.

One of the only problems I came across was being able to charge the device and plug in the tv micro USB adapter I want for it (link below)

With the recent release of the dock charger using the pogo pins I wonder if someone could confirm whether or not the micro USB would still work while sat in the dock?

Hi everyone

1st post so go easy!  :)

One of my reasons for joining is I'm currently looking at the nexus 7 for a car install. I'm pretty sure this is the tablet for me but have several questions that I'm hoping some helpful people on here can assist me with!
