You could remove the google account, click restore button, and add the account back in settings. As long as you don't tick the backup box, which replaces the old bu with a new one it should still be there.

I use es file explorer. In the left side expand tools and turn root explorer on. With the app root explorer there's a mount rw button for read/write operation, default is ro read only.

If it doesn't, there is a method to use adb bmgr on the rooted device to restore from the google backup set of the other.

I leave the first option in backup and reset checked, back up my data, on all devices. When I enter a password on one it automatically transfers to the others.

That file seems to store all the WiFi passwords, under system settings/ backup and restore, there is an option to backup WiFi passwords to Google's servers.

Yer right, just tried on my rooted 2013. Are you using adb from a computer or a terminal app?

Okay, I just tried on 2 jellybean devices. Hold down your finger on the pic until the blue bar appears up top. If there is no trash can icon press the vertical 3 dots upper right corner. From drop list press delete.
If it still doesn't work, factory reset. Or if rooted clear dalvik cache. (All the apps are optimized to run on your hardware and put there as Dex files) 2nd option, use a file explorer to delete them. If the pics are synced from g+ or picassa you'll need to delete them from those apps. Sent from my Le Pan TC1020 using Tapatalk 71

I did run into the same prob on another site, but was able to navigate through a number of screens to delete old uploaded files from my account. There was an upload limit for each user as well as size restrictions. Couldn't find that option for the web version of this forum.

The web hosting service has problems with its configuration, I believe. Also had pop up ad problems. With Tapatalk the attachments are stored elsewhere and linked to the site maybe, haven't even needed to resize any screenshots or photos! YMMV.

Look under sdcard/data/misc/WiFi with file explorer? The data folder under root directory is empty on mine. You should be able to read and copy but not write to protected folders.
