Ok thanks for the help but I got rom toolbox to work and it even fixed it from flashing cwm touch even fixed root and kept it from flashing stock recovery now the first thing I noticed is I have no settings menu button anymore and the lock screen clock looks dumb as hell the main thing is how to i access the system settings menu

I would submit a complaint against the developers for that I always do if that happens to me I those kind of devs that force install other apps on top of others without asking are scumbags

I can't stand playing driving games on a touch screen. Sometimes you just need an old school analog stick. I've been wanting this for games like dead space modern combat and such but it seems nobody is really on the same page as far as developing a game and the controls I would really like to play nova 3 but the touch screen controls are just to foreign to a veteran Xbox player like myself 22

I love this game my only issues as others on the market have stated are the fact there's no way to calibrate the gyroscope on this device and the slight frame rate drops I emailed the developers and they said they will be working on an update other than that compared to hot pursuit which I also have this game is a lot of fun

The Lounge: Off Topic Forum / Re: Re: Anybody getting an LG Nexus 4?« on: November 11, 2012, 02:51:02 AM »My Nexus 7 is my first and only Nexus device, I'm fed up with waiting for updates from OEM's. I think OEM phones with their hideous and bloated UI skins spoil the Android experience, yes you can root and flash custom ROM's but I just want to experience Android the way it is meant to be, so that's why I'm choosing the N4. I was actually thinking about getting a Gnex but with the price point of the N4, it's a no brainer for me really... I feel the same way 24

First things first my friend do us all here a favor and get rid of the task killer since android 2.1 they have done more harm than good android at this point does all of that itself and second if you go to the settings menu and the select battery it will show you what apps are using the most power and from there you can decide whether you want in un install the app or not. From my experience the screen should always be the largest power user I leave my 16 gig on auto brightness all the time and even with moderate usage I usually get close to a day on 1 charge

Nexus 7 Accessories / Review for the NYKO PLAYPAD PRO« on: November 06, 2012, 10:31:19 AM »
Ok I just picked this controller up yesterday and at first glance it very closely resembles the Xbox 360 controller it is very light in weight yet feels very sturdy in the hand. There is a free mapping app in the play store that allows for creating and saving your own game profiles currently there are only a few games with pre determined profiles like GTA 3. I just played a few quick games of mad fingers dead trigger and although it doesn't list this game pad as supported I was able to map the buttons manually and it works great. There is also a switch on it to enable different modes like one to use the app and it is also compatible with ios and supports mouse mode which still has some bugs to work out as the app is still in beta. But the key thing for me was the fact that they stated they are working in conjunction with nvidia to develop more support for tegra 3 devices down the road. I must also mention that I read somewhere this is a game stop exclusive until sometime in February 2013. Any who hope this was helpful
