New Nexus 7 Help (2nd Gen) / Re: Display questions« on: January 02, 2014, 03:02:37 PM »
There are probably some YouTube videos you can watch that will show some of this... removal is easy as mentioned about the long tap on an icon...

Do you have some examples of which apps are getting installed? might help us narrow things down.

Nexus 7 Help / Re: Android update download problem« on: December 28, 2013, 08:38:25 AM »
Weird, I had the same problem when I first picked up my nexus 7 2013. This was on day one of sales. I ended up taking mine back after working with Google for a couple of days.
I tried a couple of factory resets to no avail and connected to power for many hours - both powered on and off. Perhaps Google has figured this issue out now, I'd recommend you try engaging them. My ramblings on the subject. Stew Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 34

I would hope that it would handle it, but not certain. How is it working since?

New Nexus 7 Audio/Video Help (2nd Gen) / Re: How do I listen to music?« on: December 13, 2013, 07:30:10 AM »
Do you have all your music on a computer? You will need to do that then download Google music manager. One you've done that, you can upload your music to the cloud Once you've done that you can listen, and download, your music to any device - your phone being one.
I am certain some one can post a link to a tutorial or be more eloquent than myself. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 38

Chromecast unit should do ....$35 well spent. It only supports various applications, but the list is growing.

Bring up Play Music ... do a swipe from the left (or tap the top left corner near the head phones) then pick My Library.. you should see your music there.

Nexus 7 General Discussion / Re: Reducing the bit rate on music?« on: December 04, 2013, 08:20:45 AM »
Why bother? As long as you're on WIFI you have access to all your music, or at least 20,000 songs up on the Google cloud.
As for the speakers on the device. I personally never listen to music off the internal speakers. I am either using head phones, car speakers or using Chromecast to play through my home stereo. My ramblings. Stew Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 42

Dumped my HTC One X for the Nexus 5. Couldn't be happier with the phone. Outstanding battery life and nice speed of the phone.

New Nexus 7 Accessories (2nd Gen) / Re: Who's Using The Official Nexus Wireless Charger With Their Nexus7? How Is It?« on: December 02, 2013, 02:28:00 PM »
Hmm, I find it a bit small and takes a bit of messing around to get it to find the spot to charge.
Much more affective with the Nexus 5. Aldo doors not work through my case, so have to take it out ... so probably stick with wired charge for the 7. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 44
