I got the update yesterday, Monday Nov. 25, but it didn't work. I'm rooted so I guess I need to un-root? Will the update knock on my door again? I did clear the data in Services but that didn't seem to change anything...

Hi SP, Well I didn't realize I had lost root  So now I've been trying to re-root and I've tried a few times with now success. I am unlocked but just can't seem to root. I have downloaded, and I think followed the guide, but still no go. One thing I see is that my current build number does not seem to be listed in the tools (JSS15R). Any ideas? radio

The wifi icon always showed up brightly but until I 'forgot' it and re-established the connection it just wouldn't connect. And this just seemed to happen out of the blue... What's up wid dat???

But it's not really the sync that's a problem, it's that I can't even go to the Play Store, it says no connection. Full sig on wifi. What is going on here...? Hope I don't hve to reset.

Ah, I think you've hit on the problem SP... But for some reason, the sync is off and I don't see where to set it on permanently. Still looking....
Thanks for the lead! Don't know why it changed and I hope I can return it to normal! When I try to sync it says, "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." ...Somehow I don't believe it. Then pops up, "Unfortunately, Google+ has stopped."
Hmm, can't seem to connect to the web at all now... but only on this tab. Works OK with the old N7 or N4. Very strange

Hey Gang,
Anyone got an idea why my N7 won't connect to the web anymore? The last update to my Gmail was on Aug. 29. It shows that I have a very strong wifi sig. But if I try to look at YouTube it says it can't connect. My N4 and old N7 both connect fine. I think everything in settings looks OK... not sure. Anything I can check rather than doing a factory reset??

Well I sure like my Poetic case for the Gen One! I read some reviews about the old one not lasting very long but I've not had any problems with mine. Glad to see they have 'em for the Gen II.

Wireless qi charging, instead of a stand for every different device, one qi charger can be used for all devices with induction coils built-in. Coffee shops could have them built into the tables.

Wow, looks good! Kinda pricey but I'm sure that's a function of the quality materials used and being an 'official' version. I just wish they came in more colors. To me, part of the fun of a cover is giving a custom look to the whole package. Now that more different brands are shipping, it'll be interesting to see which are the most popular. If I don't like the one that I ordered a few weeks ago, and is just now shipping, I may have to go with the ubiquitous black and pic up an Official Asus case.

Wow, what a cool game on that new screen! I hadn't played in a while and now I'm really diggin' this great RPG! The graphics are rich and engaging on our HD screen, the game play is first rate. I hesitated to lay down the bucks but I'm glad I did in the end. Lot's of play time here! Check it out.

Another retired guy here...
The new Nexus 7 is an AMAZING and FUN device! Although I have a laptop, I seldom use it anymore now that I have my trusty N7. Two different operating systems though; not all games that play on a PC will play on Android. For my money, Nexus 7 is the biggest bang for the buck!
