In Google Play store click on the cog icon on the top right corner and open your My Order & Settings.
Once there just go to Settings chose the device and click Edit.

Since I've got 2 Nexus 7's in my household, every time I go to download an app, both of them show up in the drop down menu, and I end up having to download every item twice and then delete it from the Nexus I don't want it on, because in the drop down menu my phone comes up and Nexus 7 comes up twice.
How can I give my 2 Nexus 7's unique names so that I don't have to do this anymore?After I've given them unique names, will the play store and computers and even my Cerberus automatically note the name change? Or will they simply not recognize the devices anymore?

Yeah I can select both galleries. I am mostly doing it by holding my finger on the desktop till I get a choice. But if I go to the picture I want and use the menu, it is the same thing.
If my default is already set, how do I change the default?

Is there any way to get my fullsize picture as wallpaper? I always seem to get this expandable box that only lets me use part of the picture when I try to use one as wallpaper-

Yep, discovered the built in swipe function after I typed this. Seems to work great except for the question and exclamation mark, which I liked on Swype better.

I ended up ordering the 20 dollar battery someone linked to on eBay above, having it sent to my mom, and then having my mom pop another 25 bucks to send it to me. I guess I will still buy a Nexus since I have just replaced both my 8Gb units with 32Gb ones. Now I have two spare batteries anyways!  I do hate the way it is so hard to get things serviced these days, another by product of our throw away society I guess. It is not practical to fix things anymore, it is cheaper to replace them.

is an anti-virus needed on my tabs or my phone? All are android, and I've never caught a virus, but I could have just been lucky I guess. It didn't occur to me to use an anti-virus on these devices although I do use avast on my laptop.

My son had his slide off his knee a couple of weeks ago, and then a few days ago, my got cracked while in my pants pocket.  I ended up using it as an excuse to buy two new 32Gb ones and retire the two 8Gb ones, but I am afraid of the same thing happening again! This is not an expense I can do often. Do you think someone can replace a screen for less money than these things cost?
