Hi,
I have a broken screen on my Nexus. I called ASUS support who were not the best. They said £45 to look at it and then labour and parts. They said they had no idea what the final cost would be and no way of even finding an estimate for me.
The store I got it from said they could repair, but at a minimum of £170 and probably more. As they are £199 I got a new one.
So, I have a Nexus 7 that has a cracked screen and does not respnd to touching the screen, so can't be unlocked.
It is not rooted and I assume I can't do that when it is not screen responsive.
I don't want to sell on ebay with a number of my passwords saved on websites and my email set up in case someone can access them somehow.
Do I have any other options?
Is it best to hang on to it and hope cheap screens will be released for home fixing? Or is it only good for spare parts or the bin?
Thanks
