I have seen controllers hooked up via OTG but is there a way to go wireless? I have an Xbox but wouldn't be opposed to buying a PS3 controller if needed.

I can't answer whether an XBox controller can be used wireless but with the Sixaxis app a Dualshock 3 can be used wirelessly.

I've also heard about people using Wii-motes with the classic controller attached via bluetooth. Do what you gotta do if you need an analog joystic! I have heard Wii Controller IME works with most emulators.

Hey Jay, I just hooked up my Logitech ATTACK 3 USB joystick and it works with BBB.  Really cool!

GTA3 works with the genuine Sony PS3 controllers. No root or apps needed, simply plug & play via OTG.

That is correct but personally I'd rather use the Sixaxis app and use my Dualshock pad wirelessly...
