How can I save email addresses?

N7 does not remember prior email addresses nor can I find a means to enter addresses for future use. Any ideas,?

Tap the multi-dotted button on the App bar at the bottom of the screen to open your apps then swipe right or left until you see the app named "People", this is your contacts. when you open an email long press on the sender name and release and you will be given the option to add to contacts. Different email apps my vary slightly but it is always a long press on the sender to generate the option to add to contacts.
