If you are wondering what the screen image looks like on the Nexus 7, here are some screen shots.

Home screen in landscape using Ultimate Rotate:
Note Ultimate Rotate has not been optimized for the Nexus 7 at this time.

Did this come from a pre-ordered Nexus 7?

How were these screenshots captured?  Can you finally do screenshots from Jellybean without rooting it?  If so that would be amazing!

It was not noted how the screen shots were made. Now a FYI; Screenshot ER, from the Google Play Store, which does require rooting, makes screen shots an easy task. Here is one from my TPT using Screenshot ER, Click on the image if viewing in a web browser to enlarge:

Tell me what app allows me to get a screen capture, and I'll do it.  I tried this app (see picture), which clearly states it's compatible with the N7, but it pops up an "incompatible" error message when I try to open it.

Push the volume down and power button at the same time. No app is needed, the screen shot function is included in this OS.

It might take some practice to get the timing right when pushing the two buttons at the same time.

Sorry, but I'm a slow learner.  Is there a message or indication when I've successfully done a screen capture?  Does the image show up in the Gallery or elsewhere?  And, anticipating problems all the way along, how do I attach it if it's not available in the Gallery?

I think I got it. It chimed a bell and the screen capture photo shrank and moved to the lower left corner.  There's a screenshot photo in my gallery.  Unfortunately, it's too large to attach to this message.  Next is downloading a photo editing app.
