Inexpensive bluetooth controller?

I'm considering the Gamestop Bluetooth Controller ($29.99) but was wondering if those generic PS3 bluetooth controllers on eBay which sell for half the price would work as well.

No, they do not work. I bought one personally. I'll send it to you if you want to give it a try... spent a lot of time before I finally gave up on it.

Nope. Its not even recognized on the input setting as analog input. Total waste.

I use a PS3 Dual shock pad with the Sixaxis application, unfortunately the Sixaxis app is broken since the 4.2 update but the developer is working on a fix.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but which controllers do work?

We were using a Wii-mote to classic controller with our Motorola Xoom to play SNES Roms, will it work with the Nexus 7?

(I don't have a N7 yet, just researching for now)

Thanks!

Good question Ivan. What exactly is usable today as far as BT gaming goes?

I see Game Stop has their own BT controller that seems to work on other tabs OK: http://www.gamestop.com/android/accessories/tablet-wireless-bluetooth-controller/97838

I found a promotion a little before Christmas for a Moga controller. Free controller, just pay shipping. I ended up getting the controller, three free games(sonic, pacman, and Modern Combat 4) and a leather case for the six bucks in shipping. The Moga has its own drivers installed via an app which makes it compatible with any game that supports a controller.

By the way, I noticed on the sixaxis changelog that support for some knock off sixaxis controllers was added. I haven't had a chance to try the knock off that I have yet. If it works, it opens up the eBay knock off market...
