The nexus7 is my first experience of a tablet and I love it!!
I have never even owned a smart phone before.
I listen to the radio via tune in.
Watch football via sopcast.
I DJ and the rekordbox app allows me to organise all my music and stream it to my decks via Wi-Fi.
I can re-live all my old gaming past with the emulators and now with the mame app thanks to Barry!
I download pdf mags.
Watch films and tv.
What an amazing bit of kit. I also don't know what people mean about the speaker. I have mine
turned up to maybe 75% and its loud enough.

Hey Paulo
Thanks for the mention. Mame is killer! It brings back my childhood. I just need to get the joystick thing happening and I will be set. I saw that little arcade setup thing at a bed and shower place on clearance. I was wishing it was compatible but it was just for the iphad.I have to say I am psyched to see you doing so well with your Nexus. I love my machine as well. It is my go to for a long time now. You DJ? That's cool. I use mine for Karaoke. That was the main reason I bought it in the first place. I have enough mp3+g files that I could probably run gigs myself with the Nexus. Its amazing what this little thing can do.

It will pay for itself as I'm going to cancel my national newspaper and a weekly news magazine I subscribe to because I'm getting 95% of my news online now.

And I can read it in bed and bathroom with no lights on. I have the 8 gig model and that's fine for what I do. Still haven't used all the $25 credit that Google gave to me for the Play Store when I ordered it.

I've had a total of four tablets and like this one even better that the 10" that I had.

In use, I prefer the form factor of the iPad mini.
But the mini won't fit in a pocket.

This is my second 7" tablet after a ZTE V9 600mHz beastie with a resistive touch screen.

The V9 however, had brilliant sound through its built in stereo speakers and Dolby Mobile.

In almost everything else, the N7 blows them all away.
