bc iplayer and bbc media player

Having purchased three nexus 7 tablets I am confused why I can get bbciplayer and bbc media player and also catchuptv on one of them but the other two keep saying that this programme is not compatible.  Can anybody suggest how I can ge the other two tablets to play these programmes please.   Many thanks for any assistance that you can give me.

Are they all running the same android version? Were they all purchased at the same place?

loociddreemr is probably right, BBC iPlayer and Media player are according to Google Play not compatible with a Nexus 7 running Android 4.2 but I am running 4.2 and both are working fine because they were previously installed before the update...

To find your Android version, Settings, About tablet and Android version...

Hi.  Thank you for your replies.  All three were purchased at the same time and are running at 4.2.   The only diffrerence seems to be that I downloaded the i player etc. before the upgrade.   This seems to point to why the programmes mentioned will not run.   Is there any other way to install these programmes.  Many thanks for your help.

You can sideload them onto the two devices already running Android 4.2, to do this follow the steps below...

First you need to allow "Unknown sources", to do this...

Settings> Security> tick Unknown sources.

Now click on each of the links below to download the apk from my Dropbox (easiest to do this direct on each of the N7's that you want to install the app on), once the download is complete you will have a notification for each download so pull the notifications down and click a notification, you will be asked if you want to install the application so confirm and install one at a time.
