Wait a minute, it just worked.

Edit: In two consecutive posts it has shown the user name that is being quoted, without having to wait 24 hours. Someone else please test.

Note if you quote a post from the preceeding day, it quotes correctly, showing the OP's name. But quoting a post from the same day creates a one day lag in displaying the OP's name.
