Just got it updated now to 4.2.1.  Seems ok.  Then again, I don't have any problems with my Nexus 7 to begin with.

I haven't gotten my update yet. I have tried to force it a couple times but I am going to just wait.

Thanks Loocid. I saw that. I am trying to do it naturally this time. I read that it doesn't fix my issue so I'm just a little bummed.

In my case, the update was pushed to me (I'm in London).  It actually does not say 4.2.1 but just 4.2 which actually confused me for a while coz I was on 4.2 already.  No problems encountered so far.  I think the best way to address issues being experienced by some is to back up everything with Google then do a factory reset.  Didn't have to do this, though.

There is also a Bluetooth bug fixed with the update.

I didn't see anywhere about them fixing anything BT? Does anyone notice better BT performance? I still have the same issues.

The Android Police article doesn't mention a Bluetooth fix...

Android Police

Is Bluetooth Open Source??

Yes. Bluetooth is written into the open source. I'll find a reference and post a link.
