When Will We Hit 3000 Members?

As we approach the holidays and expect hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions of happy holiday goers to receive Nexus 7 tablets as presents I thought I'd start a thread guessing when we'll hit 3000 members.  Closest guess gets bragging rights.  I'll start it off by saying January 1st, 2013, New Year's Day.  What do you think...sooner or later?

I can't even keep up with the "last" post, much less the 3000th one.  Everyone will probably be too hungover to post on January 1, so I'll guess the second.

I read somewhere that the Mayan calendar had a typo.  We have to worry in 2031, not 2013.

You're all assuming that everyone will find this wonderful forum the second they touch their N7... (which would certainly be nice).

So I'm going to go ahead and break the cycle, making Febuary 10th my official guess.

I am staying with my 30Dec2012 prediction for 3000 forum members. With one week to go we have 2787 members and I am expecting a surge in membership after a huge number of Nexus 7's are gifted on Christmas Day.

Ah, if only every Nexus 7 owner found this forum we'd have several million members by now!  While I did originally think we'd hit 3000 by New Years Day, I might be off by a week or so.  Definitely by the second week in January, say Jan 10 tops.  For consistency however I'll stick with my original Jan 1 date and hope that like S. Prime has said, that we'll see a huge spike in members starting after Christmas Day.
