I tried cchecking for system update but the system says that i am up to date. Btw, my nexus is rooted. How do I know if I am really on 4.2.2 now?Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2if you rebooted and still showing. 2.1 the update failed. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HDThanks, so what do I need to do?Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2Have you gotten the update again when rebooting? If so why is it failing? Are you getting an error message? Are you rooted? If you haven't gotten the update again you might try and force it using the Google framework trick. Google framework is in settings /apps /all section. Clear the data and then quickly move to about tablet in settings and update device. The update should then appear. You might have to try it a couple times. If no dice we need to dive in further.

ramordep, You're rooted, so just download the zip file in post #5 of this thread, and flash it with your custom recovery.
@ramordepIf you need guidance with flashing the zip in recovery.. let us know. Also be sure to have protection so you don't lose root
quote by RamordepGot it, will download the necessary utility apps before I proceed with flashing. Btw, any feedback on battery life at 4.2.2?Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
