TreeGloo Nexus 7 Case
« on: July 18, 2012, 08:43:51 AM »
Has anyone used one of their cases before.  They look pretty cool and they are completly customizable (it could get expensive though).  Just wanting some feedback....

This looks amazing!  I'd be curious to see reviews on their covers, but I like how you can customize every part of it.  Anyone using this?

I checked out what Leo Laporte said about TreeGloo on another sight and he is dead on right.  You should do the right thing and remove TreeGloo.  They have people all over the web pissed off at them.  The F from the better business bureau is also legit. I checked it myself.  Im going Portenzo.  How the hell do you get an F with the bbb?

I was going to order from TreeGloo until I read Leo's post.

Androidforums.com and MacRumors both have threads just on TreeGloo and how people have been scammed.

Do your homework on them and search the web and you will find some interesting stuff.  They look like con artists.

I have two Portenzo cases for my iPad and love them.  I also have a Pad and Quill and its ok.  I got it as a gift.  Im going back to Portenzo for the Nexus 7 case.

Lea helped me both times because I had some questions about return policy and delivery.  I ordered a case from TreeGloo and had to contact my credit card company to get my money back after 30 days.

Seriously, dont take my word for it.  From one future 7 lover to another, stay far away from that company.  They have a nice website but from what one guy said, the product he got looked like it was made in 8th grade wood shop.

mrsdroid, Thanks ... I'm a huge fan of Leo Laporte and what he says is golden (to me anyway), so I'll follow his advice and slip over these guys.

Also what TWiT Netcast did he mention TreeGloo? I'd be interested in hearing it?

I love TWIT.  I saw it on a tech blog while searching for reviews on these cases (search his name and treegloo and you might find it if the editor of that site didnt remove it).

I liked TreeGloo s website and thought they would be a good case for my 7. I have been following Leo for years and agree that he knows his stuff and isnt affraid to call a spade a spade, nicely though.  Im not sure what Im getting yet but I would love some sugestions.

Im into the moleskin style case.  I had a DoDo for the iPad but it didnt hold up.  It looked great when I got it and maybe its not supposed to last a long time.  The price was right.

I also found this when checking them out.  http://www.bbb.org/houston/business-reviews/computers-supplies-and-parts/treegloo-in-sugar-land-tx-90021240/

There are too many other choices out there, I think.
