Both the guys above are right, apps, books, magazines et cetera bought through Google Play will be there ready to download once you've signed into your Google account. If you have them synced, calendar events and contacts will also be available from your Google account, sign in and your device will sync.
The only thing not saved is app data but as Matt has mentioned there are workarounds like Helium and Titanium.
If you want to move data stored on your internal memory, photos, movies, music et cetera then I'd suggest you take a look at AirDroid on the Play store.
