Any product that makes screen useable on sunny day?
« on: June 27, 2013, 04:05:33 AM »
Is there any product that makes screen useable on sunny days?  I mean it is useless outside at the moment, even when it isn't sunny!

Turn your screen brightness up

that doesn't really do it.

Example - Sunny this weekend - my nexus is totally and utterly unusable in the sun, yet other devices I can still read the screen.

I am not sure why this is, but surely there is a decent product that makes it useable.

I want to read using kindle app on holiday and at the moment that is never going to happen.

The only real answer is to buy an eReader, these displays aren't meant for reading in the sun.

I use my tablet outside everyday at work reading small font. I guess the big question is what are using it for outside?  Watching movies?  I could see that not working.

Turn brightness way up and find a little shade. Try a big magazine behind it.
