Right on cue this morning Google introduced their new 2013 edition of the Nexus 7. In addition to a host of new upgraded specs including an outstanding 1920 x 1200 Full HD Display, the New Nexus 7 is the first device to come loaded with Android 4.3. I've posted the full specs from the Google Play Site below and as you can see we've previously covered most of these from the leaks over the past week. We're happy to see a couple of surprises including the rumored Slim Port support for HDMI and, surprise, surround sound provided by Fraunhofer, from the Nexus 7's speakers and through headphones, which should make movie watching a pleasure. there's also the rumored Qi wireless charging.
Pricing is as previously rumored, $229 for the 16GB model and $269.99 for the 32GB. An LTE version will be able to handle Sim cards from Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T and will be priced at $349.99 The Nexus 7 will be available through Google Play starting on July 30th. It'll also be available at most major electronic retailers including: BestBuy, GameStop, Walmart, Staples, OfficeMax, OfficeDepot, amazon.com, HSN, RadioShack, J&R and B&H.
